The Business Lending tribe is seeking a Data Analyst to work on developing and managing data products and reporting across the business lending product suite, followed by supporting BAU processes. The purpose of the Business Lending Tribe is to make great business lending experiences possible for our Business Owner customers. To do so, we provide our customers with simple, industry-leading business lending solutions, quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively.

What will your day look like

Work with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand the business requirements
Translate business requirements into development features
Support and maintain BAU jobs
Create reporting visualisations to generate insights, uplift customer engagement, and business performance
Source and Analyse data to provide quality insight and actionable recommendations
Embody the organizational commitments to the AGILE methodology through actions and approach
Collaborate with various stakeholders to explore new innovative initiatives

What will you bring?

Self-motivated and enthusiastic about developing skillsets and knowledge and sharing with others
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong data visualisation skills
Strong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations
Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation (e.g. SQL, Tableau, SAS, QlikSense or Power BI)
Technical experience with programming in Python, PySpark, or R.
Technical experience with data analysis on big data platforms like Hadoop using SQL (Hive + Impala) or Spark
Analytical and inquisitive mindset to continuously improve the level of insight surfaced
Ability to effectively communicate to all team members and stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
